Our Sales Philosophy

 

At BLUE SKY ESCAPES we pride ourselves on our unique approach to property sales. It is our intention to ensure each of our purchasers buys the right property, at a fair price, with the minimum of stress. We therefore only offer a limited portfolio of personally selected property. We believe each property we represent offers good value in the current marketplace, and our pre-sale investigations help to ensure that there are no nasty surprises awaiting potential purchasers. We do our best not to market properties suffering from boundary disputes, disputed ownership, problems with access, uncertain vendors, or any of the myriad of problems that are sometimes encountered in Spain .

 

Our Charges

 

The property prices listed on our website include all commissions. We are totally transparent with our charges and use a simple commission scheme. We are more than happy to let you know how much we charge, who we charge, and exactly what you can expect us to do for you during the purchase process..

 

Legal Advice

 

We recommend all purchasers engage the services of a lawyer qualified to practice in Spain. Although it is technically possible to buy property in Spain without taking formal legal advice we believe this is extremely unwise, and although we do everything we can to check the legal and financial status of each property we are not qualified lawyers. We can however recommend the services of local lawyers, both Spanish and English speaking, and we are more than happy to assist with any communication difficulties that arise !

 

Our Service - "The Assisted Purchase"

 

In order to ensure everything proceeds to plan we offer a comprehensive "handholding" service to all our prospective purchasers. We call the process an assisted purchase because you can expect close communication and assistance every step of the way - from the first phone call or email right through to receiving the key to your new home.

 

In summary a typical purchase will usually include the following steps :

  • Assess your requirements
  • Explain the Spanish property buying process
  • Suggest a property or properties and provide comprehensive property details
  • Arrange property viewing(s)
  • Book accommodation for viewing trips ( if required )
  • Field all queries arising from the viewings
  • Liaise between purchaser and vendor until an agreement is reached
  • Advice on money transfer, Spanish bank accounts, mortgages
  • Recommend solicitors to meet your requirements
  • Liaise with solicitor ( attend meetings if necessary )
  • Arrange appointment with Notario
  • Accompany purchaser to notario for signing
  • Ensure key delivery
