Hi
I dont know if anyone can help me here. I incurred a parking fine while travelling up in northern spain recently. How do I pay it and what happens if I dont? :D Its one of those little irritating niggles that make life all the more interesting, no doubt, but the chit stuck under my wiper gave no details whatsoever about what to do or where to go to pay off the fine
Look forward to any advice on the subject
Cheers

Hi Robin,
It should tell you on the reverse, usually the local Ayuntamiento from where it was issued, or your local Correas office will send it for you, itīs done with a type of postal order. Enrique in Cadiar is most helpful.

I recently drove through the middle of Granada after visiting the Alhambra and drove down a bus/taxi lane by mistake, I wondered why it was an empty lane when the one on the right was chock a block, now I know! The fine notification took two months to catch up with me. I took the form to the local bank who stamped it with their rubber stamp took my 28 euros and gave me a stamped copy back for my records. Don't know what happens if you do not pay, hint, don't go to that town again.
