Child payment?

Has anyone applied for the one-off child payment of 2500€ for babies born after July 07?

How did you do it?
What did you have to present?
Any other comments?

hi i have done it but i live in granada, i can tell you where we went here, wether its the same place as for you guys i would not know...i do know you cannot admit your application for it until after the baby is born as their is info from the hospital needed.....after that though it was all done really quickly

I went today and got the form, they told me all i needed was libro de familia and NIE ( and possibly certifate of residence from local policia) - please tell me what you took, my daughter was born at home so don´t have hospital papers.

i am pretty sure although just from memory that somewhere on the form there is a section which asks for a number or a bit of info, which has to do with where the birth was, the midwife and a number, in our case we had to get this from the hospital, ....if you have the form there then you will know better than me!
