Hi

I don't have a name but am currently camped outside the door of some friendly people in Carataunas, near Orgiva. When I arrived a few days ago I had bloody paws and was probably thrown from a moving car. I have no collar, but after a few good meals am in surprisingly good shape. I appear well-fed and have no ticks or other obvious parasites. I approach everyone with a wagging tail and positive expectations. I am probably between 10 and 12 weeks old as I still have my puppy teeth, and expect to grow into a medium size dog if I can find a home. In fact these photos make me look older than I actually am.

The strange people who bring me my dinner already have 3 rescue dogs and can't realistically manage another so I am hoping that some kind person will take me in.

Thanks. Contact Dave 958 787 651

I'd love to but as the name suggests I have my fair share of waifs and strays too (and currently feeding and coaxing some poor frightened starved thing that's been dumped in our village). I just wanted to let you know that if you take it to the dog pound in Granada they get a week or two max before they put them down....the RSPCA they ain't.

We've had success taking puppies to markets...find an english person (preferably one that looks like they just arrived, they won't have loads of dogs yet!!) and let the puppy work it's magic. It's easier to rehome a real life puppy than a cyber one. Cadiar is a good bet, as well as Orgiva.

For anyone else reading this, he looks just like one that my neighbour took on a few months back (also from Orgiva area) and he has the most friendly playful nature....please give him a home.

Thanks Muchosperros, but I'm probably off to the dog pound tonight unless some kind person offers me a home.

Dave , you are a big softie (fortunately for Squiggle). Nice to see a happy ending. Now if we can just find a home for the little white one that visits Pagamenos on a daily basis......

Good Luck Dave, from the size of it's paws, it doesn't look as if it will be a small pup for long!!!

Have passed her photo onto a guy who was interesed in my pup...but luckily she has found a new home from monday!!

The slightly worrying thing about Basil, who the vet aged at 14 weeks, is that he appears to understand the command "sit". It's easy to always presume the Spanish are the usual culprits when it comes to animal neglect ......
