Good Morning Everyone,
Today is a glorious day, the sun is shinning, the cakes are ready and the kettle is on.. can't get much better.
We have taken a delivery of over 100 new titles, with authors from Terry Pratchett to Salmon Rushdie and Martina Cole to Edwina Currie. There are also 2 washing machines and 2 Fridge freezers that have been checked by the technico, serviced and hopefully will be here today or at least this week.
Now for the apology.. I know that many of you look on our Web Site to see what the specials are before they appear on here. Well today is supposed to be Lamb chops but the butcher's chops looked more like fat and bone with no meat, so i choose not to have any! Rather that than you pay good money for poor meat, so instead we have
Battered Cod with Chips and Mushy Peas, or Battered Veggie Sausage with Chips or Mushy Peas.
The cakes today are 2 requests;
A homemade Apple and Cinnamon Sponge, or just for Mary, a dark chocolate cake!!
So you now know what we are doing today, in addition to the regular menu, with its Crumpets, T-cakes, Sandwhichs, Home Baked Baguettes, All Day Breakfast and all the other items, why delay any longer?
