Evening Dave and the board.

Glad to see site up and running again. Just been talking to Scoot on the phone. He has "drifted" further west of us, and doing allright. He was talking about going to the Swiss Alps climbing the mountains, !!! (his missus not very happy >:( >:()

Anyway, Dave and the rest of you , in all respect, whatever Scoot says, there is some common sense in most of it. Maybe he is a bit too straight forwards with his wieves and answers to your members/guests, but thats Scoot to you. Honestly, if you met him in person, you would really love his personality. I met him through the VIVA site , and we have been pals ever sinse

Why has scoot been banned? :(

I know his replies can be a bit sharp but I agree with seagam? T

There is a grain of truth in some of the things he says.

And can't we all be a bit liberal with the truth when it comes down to it.

He has tried on occasions to be really helpful and very kind with it. :D

Scoot has been banned for his posts that I have removed, not for the posts that I have left visible on the board. In these deleted posts he named and insulted several local people and also posted several racist comments.

As I previously said his exclusion stands unless he/she contacts me and agrees to refrain from making further inflamatory posts.

For the record I received 17 complaints by email and phone relating to his last series of posts. Many complainants, particularly those who were personally insulted, were understandably upset and/or angry at his comments. Generating this kind of reaction may amuse Scoot, but it is not the purpose of this bulletin board.
