Car Insurance

Hi,

can anyone tell what the cost of car insurance is in Spain.

Hubby will probably be running a 7 seater people carrier and i will have some sort of 4 x 4 vehicle.

Want to find out these things before we arrive, one less thing to do when we get there.

If anyone know or can give me a name or website of an insurance company out there that does that type of insurance i would be grateful.

Linea Directa seems to be the one most expats use.
I'm sure if you do a google search you will find a web site for them and they all speak English

Insurance, through Direct Line, is comparable to UK prices, maybe slightly cheaper if you live in the campo. The major difference is that insurance in Spain always includes breakdown cover which saves a lot of hassle.

I found ibex insurance company another good company dealing through an English speaking broker, great for uk registered cars and 4x4s.

Are your 4 x 4s spanish registered or does it not make any difference as to where they are registered?

It would be great if you could give me their contact details.
